Well rotted at home today...
Today was like the worse Saturday la...
Nothing to do from 11.30 till 5.30
Like omg la...i was lying on my bed staring at the ceiling for like an hour...
So was stuck at home while other people were NOT rotting at home...I was all alone..
I really wish I had more freedom....seriously....I'm already sec 4
And yet I've such limited freedom
Can't even go home from tuition myself...sigh..
My mum says my dad is concerned about my studies blah blah blah
Oh please la...Other people fail test also their parents just scold
But still got so much freedom
Mine...scold + the occasional unreasonable punishment
I really don't mind not getting anything for Xmas or whatever...I just want something money can't buy...I've said it once..I'll say it again
FREEDOM

I was released from the torture at 5.30 when I left for tuition
Then after tuition went for dinner with my parents + Eugene and Dylan (I'll call em "ED" for short :D) at a hawker centre near Heartland Mall
Lols then it was raining cats and dogs
Meow!...Woof!
Couldn't resist :D

So we were stuck at Heartland Mall
Went to walk around awhile with ED :D while my parents went their own ways
Saw Howard Tan! Twice! lol
With his wife and baby
Talked to him awhile..he looks too old to have such a young child la
Lols...anyway...later on Eugene and Dylan ( Ok I guess I should stop with the "ED" lols...) went to Hougang Mall
So went to mac to wait for the rain to stop
Ate fries and ice cream! :D

Finally got home at like 9.40
And found out my mum was from NCC and she was a very good Marksman or something lol
Like wow...my mum can shoot :D
Dang getting the flu...keep sneezing and my nose keeps getting blocked

Ah I'm tired...
Got back at around 10.30
Lols

Training ended at around 7
Stayed in school till 8 to do some stuff...and talk crap in the room :D
Then left for dinner with Fred, Douglas, SY, Mr Pang and CLT Pradeep
Went to Hougang Mall Kopitiam and talked alot
Left around 9.45

Well these are my Friday's
How I wish trainings were still on Saturday
Friday's would be FREEEEEEEEEEE! :D
Sigh 2 more months...
Can't wait sia...
But also can't say I won't miss the CCA lol
Hmmm...trying to think of more stuff to type....

I've been thinking lately...
What if I never joined NCDCC
What if I was never in a UG
hmmm....
I may be a different person lol
No discipline, No leadership skills (I hope I do have em now lol) , No life-saving skills (Though I seldom use em lol), I would probably be alot less fit than I am now....and I'm not even fit now...TT
I wouldn't be able to cook instant noodles from a mastin, I wouldn't be used to sleeping in tents....and the list goes on...lol
Most importantly...
I wouldn't be able to say that I achieved something in my life
But then again...I would be very free...with no worries about Training Schedules and all...lol
So it has its ups and downs...

Its amazing how something so small can change a persons life so much lol
Well I guess that's it...like I always say...
WEEKENDS SUCK!

Went for the Student Leader's Investiture
It was really boring...
Long rehearsal...
Lol Darryl was one of the MC's
Anyway all we got was Letter of Appointment
A cert which shows that the school acknowledges my appointment was a WO in NCDCC
And other schools were invited too
Though I don't see a point of inviting them
Its mostly for us la..
When the EXCO was going up on stage to get their certs, Darryl was announcing names and he said...
"Faris Na...*clears throat* Nabil"
LOL
Anyway there was poor organisation and the councillors screwed up a lil
But oh well... there wasn't a need for an Investiture anyway

Oh yea if I haven't said this yet...
WE GOT THE GOLD AWARD FOR UOPA!
NCDCC MONTFORT IS A GOLD UNIT! WOOOOOO!
and we finally have pace sticks :D
UOPA stand for Unit Overall Performance Award by the way

Met up with the gang after that
Ate a free early dinner at the canteen
The chicken was nice
Then went Dylan's house 'cause there was no point for me to go home before tuition which was at 7.30
Got lots of songs from him
Lol thanks Dylan!

Then met Eugene downstairs his block
Went for tuition and went home
Somehow my brain takes awhile to process stuff during lessons
So i'm usually damn blur at the first part lol

Sigh can't find anything to look forward to nowadays
Everyday is passing so slowly...
Life is boring...and i'm hungry..

Well today was a rough day
Sorta...
Was feeling tired in school
Even though I slept early last night
After school went Hougang Mall
Spent the last of my money on KFC
I'm seriously overspending
Then followed Eugene to church 'cause today was Ash Wednesday
Very long never go lol
So kinda forgot some stuff
Then went to get a drink and went home

On the way home...
At a junction near Compass Point....
There was an accident

The hood of the car was totally ripped off la

So the bus was stuck there...
For like damn long
Till the driver told us to get off
And we didn't even get a ticket
Like wtf la...
Had to walk all the way to a bus stop with 88
It wasn't that near...
Then realised I had ABSOLUTELY NO MONEY to go home
I called everyone I knew who lived in Senkang
All were out...I even considered asking for money from strangers
Then decided to call my mum
She said take a cab and she'll pay later
So reached home about 9.30....damn tired sia...

Tomorrow I have the Student Leader's Investiture
Gonna be boring...seriously..

Back from Sec 3 Leadership camp!
Well actually yesterday
Was tired so didn't post

Anyway reached school at 7 on Saturday

They were doing PT
Then it was breakfast and MOI
Some of the sec 3's were good. But some really need alot of improvement
But I admit they're more creative than the sec 4's were back then

So yea after sitting in the classroom for almost 2 hours listening to all the sec 3's, it was time for Footdrill Silver Test!
It went pretty smooth.
Then we taught them Gold Footdrill commands
They were not bad considering they were doing it for the first time lol
Moving on...
We set up some 'Debris' and they had to crawl through it to get to the other side and rescue 'Casualties' and bring them back

It was damn fun la
Or at least for us :D
LTA Hozefa decided to have some fun while waiting for the casualties to be rescued.
So we repositioned them

LOL

Then it was time for dinner

They were cooking while the sec 4's were eating chicken rice....with lots of bones lol

Lol we said they'll sleep early after a long day
Like at 9.30
We lied :D
Though most of them expected it
So off we went on yet another overnight expedition to Mt Faber at 2.30am
The sec 4's kinda forgot some stuff so we had to turn back after 20 mins into the journey getting there
Major blunder there...
Reached Mt Faber at like 3+am
Yea the sec 3's basically did everything we..as in the sec 4 SNCO did during our camp last year
So fun la...
Making them think someone was missing and all :D

There was this trail where they had to walk alone
It was supposed to be dark but we were a lil late so it was already sunrise lol
So it was not scary at all

Well actually it isn't but LTA Hozefa told them the stories about the place
Like how many soldier died there during the Japanese Invasion
In my camp it was scarier 'cause it was like 3am+ and it was still dark
Anyway we ended around 8am and reached school at 8.30am

Was tired...but still went to mac to eat lol
Hunger overcomes fatigue :D

Well that's pretty much it
Today wanted to go gym
But somehow got persuaded to go Eugene's condo gym again
Well this time it really sucked
Got chased out of the gym 'cause of some stupid security guard 'cause some people complained
I also dunno why...
So went to the fitness corner and played around
We tested our strength at the parallel bars
Tried pushing each other out of the bars...which was longer than normal bars
Damn fun la...but now my chest pain lols

Damn gotta study for History test tomorrow TT

I'll be off to sec 3 Leadership camp as an SNCO tomorrow!
Actually supposed to be in camp now but had to go for my Great Grandmother's Birthday
I've done up my uniform and everything
Now all that's left is packing my bag
Probably just gonna dump anything I can find into a bag lol
I'll be back on Sunday morning
Yea gonna have an overnight hike again
Ah it brings back the memories
Just that now I'm an SNCO
Dang gotta sleep now
Gotta get up at 5.30am tomorrow

Today was pretty eventful
There was chaos in the class during English
'Cause the teacher didn't come and a relief teacher came
For one reason or another he was called 'Harry Potter' LOL

Soon the class was in a mess and the notice board at the front and back were decorated with HSM 3/ Jonas Brothers posters LOL

We got some old issues of Teenage magazine for some reason
Well then after recess the class got lectured by Edwin Lee
Which dragged into most of CLB. Yay! :D

After school did some cca stuff then went to Hougang Mall
Went to the library again and did what we always do...
Stupid stuff like...

Even got pinned down....Dylan sat on me while Eugene went for my legs...lol
So glad that girl sitting opposite us didn't notice us and was listening to music lols

Then went home. Bathed, ate dinner and went for tuition
Just joined Dylan's tuition! :D
Eugene too! :D

Today was a long day...like every other Tuesday
Lol yesterday we were coming up with name for ourselves since Barry was already called ' Orange'
For some reason or another...
I became the 'Banana'
Eugene is the 'Strawberry'
Dylan is the 'Grape'
Darren is the 'Durian'
And Martin is the 'Mango'
LOL
Yea boredom kills

Today stayed back for DnT
Had a long conversation with Mr Ho, Mr Ong and Ms Mo and wasting time
Then went Hougang Mall to eat
Darren PS-ed us
Dylan and Eugene accompanied me onto 89
Eugene got off along the way and Dylan was kind enough AGAIN to accompany me all the way to Pasir Ris

TODAY IS FRIDAY THE 13TH!
Its really just a superstition lol

Today in the morning there was the March Pass thing for Total Defence Day
Yea i was the CC 'cause SOMEONE was late for the rehearsal
Anyway it was kinda ok
Then after school had the usual training
Sec 3 Leadership Training is damn fun la
I mean fun as in watching them try to complete ridiculous tasks lol
Like crawling through a maze of tables we made

Awkward position? LOL

Anyway there was a Promotion Ceremony at the end and we were all really hyper
Had a photo taking ceremony and all

LTA Hozefa's birthday was a few days ago and the Sec 3's got him a gift
How thoughtful

Then changed and met Eugene, Darren and Martin for dinner
Fred came along too
Went back to school for the Parent-Teacher meeting
It was pretty boring...

It was boring...except for eating at Sushi Tei for dinner :D

The WO promotion finally came and went
Me and Fred got to HTA at like 1.30
We were early
Rehearsals only started around 3+ , 4?
The whole ceremony ended around 6+
Yea it was pretty simple
Just go up and get the cert and then everyone says the pledge and takes pictures
Then eat, congratulate and go home
Anyway I also got the SCDF-NCDCC Badge
Supposedly given to those who excel academically and in CCA
But I was really surprised
ME!? ACADEMICALLY!?
AHAHAHAHA!
Impossible...
I failed Maths last year and barely passed Combined Science

On another note
Darryl was bored during maths so....

Lol hooray for Whiteboard Markers!
And he drew many other lame stuff lol

Haven't posted much about CNY 'cause my Dad hasn't passed any pics to me yet

Well past few days have been really normal
