Worst Camp Ever!!!
Was in camp from Monday till Thursday
Monday
Reported to school at 7
reached the campsite on Pulau Ubin at around 8:30
It was a resort!
Our tents were all pitched on a beach of a lagoon
I thought we had to pitch our own tents...
We were split up into groups and we had our own instructors
I was in group 9 and my insturctor was Iman, the Mr Chrys Ho look-alike
Group 10's instructor was Giddeon(we call him Giddy) and he's like...
SHORT
and he's 18
Our camp cheif was Rain(not that pop star)
Iman was said to never smile..but he looked like he was when he talked to us LOL
The first activity was Team Challenge Pyramid
Groups of 5 would climb all the way up the pyramid thingy and flying fox all the way down
the whole thing is like 6 storeys high
I didn't do it cos there weren't enough safety harnesses...and maybe cos i was lazy XD
Our dinner was simple but it tasted SO GOOD cos i was hungry
At night we went out to camp under the stars
We walked like 2km to the campsite and the road was pitch black
it was around 11pm and the trees were black
only the instructors carried torch lights and before setting off the DM(who came to visit us) told us about movement in trees at night...i guess you get my point
Dylan was like "I'm looking at the tree but there nothing there" LOL
The campsite was like an open patch of sand and rocks and we had a 'massage' while sleeping
We only had 4 hours of sleep
Tuesday
APRIL FOOLS DAY!!!
Woke up at 4:30am
trekked back to camp
had a slice of bread with tuna and milo for breakfast
We had the Ubin Bash
basically walking around and appreciating nature
Mr Ng and Ms Mo followed us
the place we went to was the exact place I went to during A.T.C
The quarry with blue clear water
Halfway walking back to camp Iman said we had to trek through a small river that looked like a drain
we were all prepared to pull up our pants when he said "April Fools!!!"
LOL
Back at camp we had rafting
I just helped tie some ropes
When my group's raft was in the water, Iman called out the fish(that was the 3/4 the length of a car) in the lagoon by tapping the sides of his kayak
The fish popped out and i think the rafters were freaked out LOL
Of course i wasn't in the water cos i didn't want to get wet
LOL Darryl wore Ms Mo's pink hat
At night we had the Jetty Jump
When the instructor said "Who not doing Jetty Jump go stand over there"
80% of the class stood up and walked away LOL (Obviously i went with them os i was lazy)
Then later on we had the Night Walk
walking in total darkness without a torchlight and by yourself
Some people said it was like 2km so i was like...
WTF!!! I totally freaked out just before the walk and i felt like vomiting
The instructors allowed Eugene to walk with me
In the end it was only 200m
so it wasn't so bad
Wednesday
Rock climbing!
One of the few activities I did
Got stuck at one point and my fingers ached
Jarret wore maternity pants according to a lot o people
Martin and Giddy...big difference there XD
Ms Mo wearing my cap and Eugene spoiling the picture
Then it was High Elements......which of course i didn't do
again like 80% of the class backed out
even Ms Mo climbed LOL
and she had like 7 bruises on her leg cos she kept hitting her leg on the poles of the TCP while climbing
We had our campfire without the fire later on at night
it was indoors and every class had to perform something
Ours was a cheer....
it goes like this,
"Dani is a dinosaur who likes to tekan people.
One fine day we bury her in lots and lots of pebbles."
LOL Dani,the instructor always gave us like 10 seconds to stand up but she told us to sit back down at 4 seconds cos we were slow
2nd cheer
"Rain the camp chief, can he block us?
Rain the camp chief, YES HE CAN!
Rain the camp chief, do we love him?
Rain the camp chief YES WE DO!"
LOL and Martin led the whole thing
Later on there was some shuffling performance
and some other lame stuff
We sang the watermelon,banana,raisin and rambuttan song XD
Off to sleep
Thursday
WESA ARE FREE!!!!
lol...
left ubin around 11 and got back in school like 1
The boring camp was over
