Have'nt blog for 4 days lol
yesterday went for lunch with my uncle
my dad brought us to some place very far away in Lim Chu Kang called Bollywood Veggies
had lots of vegetables in the food
the owner allowed my aunt to pull out some pandan plants

later my dad drove us around to see stuff
we went to a big fish farm with lots of fishes(thats why its a big fish farm)
saw sting rays and this weird fish that does'nt move lol
there was something called "The House of Dragon"
inside were....
Dragon Fish, also known as Arowana
damn expensive
a small tiny baby fish is like $800 and an adult is like $1888
t
here was a sign saying "This Dragon Fish used to belong to Mr Chow Yun Fatt" LOL
not for sale though...

i went out and saw some fishes that kept staring at me and everyone who walked past and they looked like they were smiling lol

Gotta go for the 4th dinner out this week

i've been eating junk this holiday....

I wanted to post yesterday but i was too lazy...
my friend is back from Australia(he's Alex, theone on my friends list with the dead blog)
he wanted to play Halo 3 so i brought him to E2max

only 1 person was playing Halo 3 but the guy at the counter said Halo 3 totally rented out
WTF
so we ended up playing Gear of War.....got bored after the first 10 minutes
switched to Call of Duty 2
quite fun playing as a soviet soldier but i kept shooting my allies and they called me a traitor to the motherland
finally played N3 or Nintey Nine Nights
its like dynasty warriors but you can't act like a sword weilding rambo.
unlike dynasty warriors which is easy, you can die easily in this game.
but the gameplay is good and the combos look cool....
its abit like Lord of the Rings...
your army fights an army of orcs or trolls or goblins and you are the almost unkillable commander.
but occasionally we would charge into battle forgetting to order your troops to attack LOL
well that about everything i did yesterday...
on the mrt Alex was commenting on most of the people around him.
As if he never sat on an mrt before.....

school starts in about 12 days....
well at least i won't be bored....
well anyway now i'm starting to like my drum lessons lol
and i'm getting an MP4 for christmas
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

i have less than 2 weeks left of holidays and my mum does'nt care
she's so unreasonable
crap....

its hell without my com and i'm not saying this because i'm an addict
its so boring and i'm forced to watch then entire star wars trilogy again(yes i have all episodes except for episode 2)
seeing 1970's special effects really makes be grateful for the invention of CGI animation
I still have tution on christmas week wtf...craps
my holidays will end in a crappy way
life is sad...because of unreasonable people
well i don't have alot to post
i'm trying to reach my hundredth post on new years day. i'll post at midnight

hope i can go out on thursday....have'nt got out of Pasir Ris since the end of november

created a facebook account
started maple again but i'll most likely stop when holidays are over

thats about it.....
anyway my horrible maths tution has started again because my teacher is back from her vacation..dammit
and i just realized she gave me alot of homework....so this week i can't get out of the house
dammitX2
can't wait for christmas when i'll be free without any evil tutions or any crap
my dad said i could get a psp for christmas but now he says i can't....
my mum said its to expensive....
and i don't think i can get an ipod either....
CRAP
the new ipod nano looks so cool...*sigh*

I'm back from Ho Chi Minh and i'm really tired...
well i'm still gonna post...
left singapore about 6am and reached there about 9am Ho Chi Minh time so its about 2 hours(vietnam is 1 hour behind singapore)
when i got out of the airport and into the taxi....i was like OMG
there were no traffic lights and motorbikes ruled the roads
at the junction, everyone was making a turn and i thought there was gonna be a massive accident or something...somehow vietnamese motorist are skilled at avoiding
its hell to cross the roads
and there are wires and cables everywhere
we got to the hotel...its a 3 star hotel and i was expecting a small room....
the room was BIG!!! and looked abit like a suite
it was L-shaped and the tv had cable channels
and the toilet bowl has this small water pipe which sprays water in your ass and cleans it when you push a lever...how lazy can humans get?
later on we went to check out Ben Tahn market
its like a wet market but with shops selling clothes, bags, lakerware etc.
its boring for me because my parents drag me up and down buying stuff which i see in almost every shop....
i see the same things 20 times and they still wanna look...
we had lunch at Pho 24
Pho means Beef Noodle of something
it was 10 times better than the one in Singapore
so the first day was pretty much shopping....
we went to have a BBQ dinner...the beef and prawns are delicous...
i discovered a new meaning of 'fresh'
the waiter killed the prawns in front of us....even as my dad started cooked them, they were still moving
we went on a tour on the second day
we were in this really crammed bus with some other people
there were 2 thai's,2 italians,1 german with a thai wife,1british,1 australian and 1 japanese
first stop was at a pagoda...nothing much there
then we were at the war remnants museum, all about the vietnam war...how cruel the communist and the american were
the americans dropped bombs on countless villages and killed many innocent people...its just sad...
there were tanks and planes on display...and some bombs
next we went to chinatown....really boring....
singapore's chinatown is much better...so much cleaner and modern...
next it was the reunification hall or independance hall or something like that...the home of the president that was killed before he even set foot in it.
he was killed by his own troops and his previous residence was bombed by his own air force
later on we went to the notre damn cathedreal and the central post office...
the cathedral really resmbles the one in notre dame...hence the name
theres a giant statue of mother mary infront of it
so we have come to the end of day 2
day 3
went to the famous cu chi tunnels
used by the communist during WW2
the bus ride was like 1 hour+ and the tour guide was telling us his life story...how he is a veteran and all the normal veteran story crap
LOL
i slept during his speech
cu chi tunnels is actually underneath the village of cu chi...which napalm was dropped on
some of the bomb craters can be 8m deep
he surrounding trees were replanted(because the napalm destroyed everything)
we climed through a small section of the tunnel
its like 50-60cm wide and its claustrophobic
i never want to do it again
the guide showed us some booby traps...really nasty
how the communist lived....destroyed tanks
guess what...i was given a chance to fire a real gun at the firing range
i fired an M60 rifle
it was really cool
although i was nervous at first...its really loud....i could'nt hear a thing after i fired a few times
before dinner we went to try their fast food..called Lotteria
i had a chicken burger set meal..comes with a chicken burger(which is huge) and an extra piece of chicken and is better than macdonalds
my mum wanted to try this famous restaurant for dinner
it was'nt that good....dissapointing,and i was too full from lunch
on the fourth day which is today...we slacked in the hotel room...
watched some movies on cable tv...left Ho Chi Minh at 2pm vietnam time and reached home at
5pm singapore time
so tired...
this trip was'nt so bad after all....
the food is good....the people are friendly
the hotel is good...although i would never want to go back there
lol
here's some pictures that i had to resize 1 by 1
motorbikes everywhere
a typical messy street with cables everywhere
Pho,beef noodles
BBQ dinner
i'm manning the AA gun
a seismic bomb with a blast radius of 800m(i think)
Reunification palace, home to the president who was killed by his own army
post office
Lakerware covers of Tin-Tin,they are all in french
Notre Dame Cathedral with mother mary in front *holy music plays in the background*
look closely at this trap...there are bamboo spikes
Booby Traps
1 of the many hidden holes that lead to the tunnels...its really small
me firing the M60 rifle
it may look nice but it is'nt that great
back in singapore
