Today is Teacher's Day!!! Well technically its tommorow but celebrations were today. In school we had the usual mass workout.... then went to the hall for some performance..... at 1st it was prize giving for the academicly achieved students..... IT WAS SOOOO BORING!!!!! Finally over......after that there were people singing some chinese songs which i don't understand....even Mr Wong..
Then NCC performed a precision arms drill or something like that.....they were good..... Then the MFSS drumline performed......its always the same old thing...
So finally went back to Maris Stella..... About 14 people from my ex-class showed up.......dissapointing...
Met everyone at the grand stand......only Lucas and Sean were there...... Then slowly everyone showed up....
Matthew,James,Xavier,Jun Yao.......
The 1st thing they did........ soccer........
I went with Sean to see the teachers......only saw 1..... They were all at the library..... then met up with Qi Hao at the canteen with his girlfriend......never imagined him to have one.
Then Amos and Marcus came...... Nobody could recognize Marcus......particullary his hair. Then Marcus Ng came......no longer a bald head... And Nicholas.....
I went around exploring the school.....see how much it changed....
It did'nt change a bit........but comparing the classrooms to Montforts.....
They are twice the size.......and the floors are tiled...
We all met up at the canteen then went around to see teachers.... 1st teacher......Yue Lao Shi......she could rememeber all of us.......she saw Marcus and said in chinese: Your hair is like EMO(She pronounce it as 'eh-moh')
Then went to see Ms Chua....... Then Evan popped out of nowhere..... when she asked us about our grades...... we fell silent

Lucas and friends went to play another round of soccer.Ex-6B VS Ex-6D
I had a long chat with Sean and Xavier......alot of catching up to do... have'nt seen them for 2 years...
Go out of school at 2pm..... I followed Nick because we both live in Pasir Ris... We took bus 28 to Paya Lebar MRT but change our minds and went all the way to Tampines interchange... the bus ride was like 1hour.... So long...... At 20mins it was already in Tampines.....i thought it would make a right to the interchange but it looped around Tampines..... Avenue 34,Avenue 9,Avenue 14 It was LONG!!!!
Nick wanted to meet his girlfriend.
Could'nt find her......searched for 45mins then rested at Macdonalds...
He had very little contact with her(Her phone bill is high) and she said she was in TM.... but nowhere in sight.....
We had Mcflurry's at Macdonalds and then chat about school..... Then his girlfriend called him to tell him she was in a movie....
So we went back to Pasir Ris...... All that for nothing...... At least it helped me kill some time...
Reached home about 5.30
Now i have the whole night on the computer
YAY!!!!!
and i can change my phone on sunday.....

I bought Electornic Gaming Monthly today for a specific reason.
Halo 3
Its so nice!!!!!!
The graphics and details have greatly improved!!!!!
So its basically a 19-page long article about all the new stuff in Halo 3.
There are at least 3 new vehicles and 4 or 5 new weapons plus new multiplayer maps.
New weapons:
The spiker The mauler
The new rifle which is similar to Halo 1's rifle
and the Gravity Hammer (The one tartarus was using)
In Halo 3 don't expect the brutes to just stand there and get killed....even on normal.(Easy is for losers)
They have strategy and they would charge at you randomly now instead of only when their comrade is killed or you shoot them to much.
The gravity hammer has the abillity to lock on......just like the energy sword.
But.....in order to get the gravity hammer you have to kill the red armoured brutes........which are tough.
The hammer can send a vehicle flying and can deflect grenades.
Its really great.
The Halo 1 rifle is reused!!!!But that does'nt mean the Halo 2 battle rifle is gone.
The spiker is sort of like a replacement for the brute shot(Although brutes still use them)
It has dual weilding capabillities.
The Mauler........now this is a good one.....
its kinda like a shotgun but it can be dual weilded.Imagine the possibilities!!!!!!!
New vehicles for both human and covenant:
The mongoose(Humans)
The Brute chopper(Covenant)
Hornet(Humans)
Prowler(Covenant)
And Elephant(Not that african mammal)
The mongoose is similar to the warthog in design and look but its more like a motorcycle.
It carries 2 people.1driver and 1 guy and 1 extra guy at the back to shoot stuff.
the Brute Chopper is a Ghost but fitted with brute shots instead of plasma cannons.It has also been given a face-life and it looks bulkier and bigger than the Ghost.
The Hornet.......is erm......like a flying troop carrier according to the picture.It can be piloted.Its like a helicopter and is similar to the Pelican(Not that bird witht he giant beak)
I have no idea what a prowler is......i think its a brute variant of the wraith.
Finally the Elephant is like a mobile base for the human marines.Its huge and looks 3 times the size of a Scorpion Tank.Its the biggest vehicle yet.
New grenades and tools:
Spiker grenades
Flare
Regenarator
Bubble shield
rader jammer
personal sheild
The spiker grenade is like a 1-hit K.O grenade.....no explantion needed
the regenerator recharges a plyers sheilds. Its handy if you are standing on a hill or under cover but its useless against 1-hit kill attacks.
The bubble sheild(As seen in the trailer, 'Starry Night') is a 360 degree sheild.There was some speculation that it was a sheild grenade but its actually quite big to be a grenade.
Rader jammer is useful in multiplayer......guess what it does.....
And the personal sheild is a weaker version of the Bubble Sheild.The personal Sheild protects only one side and not all around you but you can shoot through it if you are the user.
New features:
Marines now look different from each other
SGT Johnson actually aged
The environment interactable
The Scarab Walker is no longer just a big dumb target.It would hunt you down but it can be destroyed now
And the Marines are now more talkative......flip your warthog over and they call you a dumbass(Even though you greatly outrank them)
So looks like this is gonna be the game of the year.
Tommorow got History mid-year exam....better study

Random Thoughts:This Week Seems Long.....
The msn virus on my com is finally GONE!!! Yippeee. I got it from my friend and then it spread to alot of people on my contacts list. Fred also got it lol.
THANK YOU MACAFEE ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE.
Apparently I discovered it also had a Trojan Horse. I was like WTF!!!!! There were at least 6 files infected. Luckily its gone....i think
Hey just remembered that today theres a lunar eclipse that has passed and is not visible in Singapore because its cloudy. DAMN!!

In other news.....i mean other happenings

I got 13/15 for maths test
I can change my phone this weekend
And i can go out on friday

Today was tiring....So today went for my aunt's wedding lunch at Sentosa Golf Club.Its pretty far from Pasir Ris.
I had to wear a suit.....so heavy and hot...
Anyway arrived at 11.35am.My aunt's half chinese half caucasian so there were like relatives from both sides....
Had tea ceremony and stuff for like 1 hour then waited till 1 to start lunch.I had alot of appetizers before lunch.....
MMMM delicous prawns...
Then lunch finally started.First dish....some scallop thingy....
it was SO SOUR!!!!!AND BITTER!!!!I HATED IT!!!!!
ITS HIDIEOUS
I was talking to my 20+ year old aunt(Not the one getting married)About........TRANSFORMERS!!!!LOL
Then went around taking pictures of stuff that did'nt really matter... Like table decor!!!!
Second dish.......LOBSTERS WITH PASTA!!!!!YUMMY!!!!!
Third dish......BEEF WITH MASHED POTATOES YUMMIER!!!!!
Its all western.......
i sipped some champagne,red wine and white wine from my Mum......then i felt sleepy..... i almost slept on the table...... do i really have such low capacity for alchohol!???!!!! LOL
We "yam seng" like 3 times...
even the caucasians joined in.....
my grand uncle made this joke before lunch saying that all the "ang mor" like to stand up and talk alot while cheena people talk a while then tired......LOL
I noticed caucasian eyes would turn red when taken a photo of using flash......LOL

Lunch ended at about 3 and everyone stayed till 4 to chat and all.....
i was so darn bored.. wished i could listen to MP3 but my mum said that would be rude.....

The view from the private room was great!!!!Could see all the ships and the beach.... Sentosa rocks!!!! There were 2 wedding cakes. 1 fruit and the other chocolate.......i did'nt really fancy both...
After everything we were asked to take home one piece of table decor because there were too many...
1 costs like $100!!!!!!
Its just a bunch of flowers and plants.........WTH
so after leaving we went to drive around Sentosa......went into the new under construction condominuim Sentosa Cove....
ITS HUGE!!!!!
Its like at least 2-3 times the size of the Padang.
Its BEAUTIFUL!!!!!It faces the sea too......
The entrance is like WOW!!!!A fountain with decorations and the roads are all brick....

the houses are divided into different "streets"
its like a mini town. the pics are abit blur...i took these in the car and it was raining too

Yay Its my BIRTHDAY!!!!WOOHOO!!!! LOL.... Today in school Barry had to just tell everone it was my birthday... And Sheng Yong told everyone in NCDCC...even Mr Tan... So today went to celebrate after school at Hougang Mall. David,Fred,Eugene,Jian En, Rong Sheng and Sheng Yong went,,,,,we spent like half an hour figuring what to eat. Finally decided on LJS.........spent about $6 on a combo 2 SO EX!!!! David as usual did stupid things like eating a fresh hot fish and chips without at least blowing on it. Sheng Yong disappeared before lunch LOL Then waited at LJS for Daniel And Nick Phang..........I have no idea why.....Freddy wanted to... Then we sat around at LJS listening to Eugene playing the power rangers theme on his phone.....
We were like WTH!!!!!David gave me some handphone keychain which is a Chupa Chup lolipop!!! LOL.......he nothing better to do.....and Sheng Yong gave me a pocket knife...... I saw my senior at hougang Mall too.I got myself a cd using my birthday money. Yellowcard:Lights and Sounds.Could'nt find the new album Paper Walls. We wasted alot of time looking at phones at Nokia and Starhub shops and we went to challenger to see earphones.Hougang mall very boring. Today in school during F&N we all slacked....but we found out my half of the class failed Task Analaysis!!!All because Diane Ng mark...... "Perfect" time for Ms Dev to be away......i spent so much effort and time doing Task Analaysis!!!

Today was great! I finally got my Coporal rank!!! I arrived in school at 7.10 or so...
then rehearsed the scenario drill and parade.Finally it was the big event....
everyone was there,parents,VP,Commandant and even Mr Ho....
When going out to receive your rank its very tense and nervous.Well duh,its the Commandant of NCDCC.Well alot of sec 1's did it wrongly.......so did I LOL!So once parade was over it was scenario time.
The scenario:An explosion at a shopping centre.
The NCDCC rush to the scene.There are 4 casualties.(1 of them is frederick).
So here comes the Red Rhino.......seriously,a real Red Rhino came to school.Just like CCA day.
Anyway the fire team is dispatched first followed by the stretcher team which is part of the rescue team.(i'm in stretcher team).
We had to put 2 people onto the stretcher......Zhang Lin and Fred.....
Zhang Lin was light but Fred was heavier for some reason or another.
They were trapped under "debris" which were in the form of chairs and tables.
After rescuing Fred we were done.....so we slacked.Fred was given CPR by SSGT Pradeep.
Obviously not real CPR.....
In the end everything worked out.....
After everything guess who I saw...........
my ex teacher from primary school!!!!
Apparently she's SSGT Kang Hao's cousin.......small world.
And Mr Tan knows her too....somehow
She took a while to remember me but she instantly remembered Fred.....Probrably because he was not exactcly the good student.
Guess what....she has a child.......wow.....never seen her for 3 years.
The sad part about today.....we did'nt get all our badges.We only got out campcraft badge.
Our Total Defence badge has been due since last year......
At least i got my Corporal Rank!!!!!!!!!YAHOOOO!!!!!

So darn stressed!!!!Not with school but with life!!!!This whole week has been terrible.....
Monday had tution,tuesday fell sick with the flu,wensday tution cancelled fortunately but i was like a zombie in class 'cause the medicine was very strong,thursday which is today had tution and tmorrow is the worst..........i have rehearsal for the NCDCC 2007 investiture.We actually needed to stay overnight but i have the excuse of being sick so lucky me.The good thing is i'm not in G.O.H so i don't have alot of training but thats also the bad part.....
G.O.H is sooo cool........wish i could be in it......seriously pissed actually.
The OC's said the surpporting contingent has to have good people but is'nt that minimizing their potential????Putting us with the slackers...
Anyway i can't do anything about it.......too late.
At least i'm FINALLY getting my Corporal rank and my long awaited badges.
Yippee!!!!
Well guess what happened on Tuesday.......the china guy(Not Leo) who whacked at least 3 people came back.Everyone though he got suspended till next year or so.....
David was one of the "victims".
He got whacked for like NO reason.....
Funny story,when china guy whacked david he got caught and sent down to the DM's office.
He denied whacking David but little did he know that the DM saw the entire thing.
LOL.......
So Darryl went with david 'cause he saw what happened......either that or he wanted to skip history class which was for once.....fun that day.Not saying i hate history.....i love it.
I'm having mixed emotions about saturday of excitement and nervousness(is there even such a word??)
The big guys from HQ are coming down....
guys like the LTC of NCDCC and the others whom i don't know.
Then the principal and the VP's will be there and i think some OC's will be present.
At least i can finally show off my Corporal rank.
Hopefully i'll be a Staff SGT........HOPEFULLY!!!!!!!!!!!
